This final video in our series focuses on one thing: what SOHIP residents can do right now as the case moves in front of the Oak Lawn Committee and toward formal zoning review.

  • Who to contact — the Plan Commissioner, the Council Member, and the Oak Lawn Committee
  • How to write an effective email using one or two of our fact-based talking points
  • Why residents within the 500-ft zone carry extraordinary influence
  • How showing up in person builds visible community opposition

Our message is simple and consistent: SOHIP is united in opposing this tower-scale up-zoning on an MF-2 block, and we are organizing as a community to protect the scale, safety, and character of our neighborhood.
